Secure Document Shred Days
Shredding is a safe and secure way of preventing valuable information from getting in the wrong hands. The Mobile County Recycling offers on site shred days on the second Wednesday of every month from 2:00 to 5:00. Residents are able to bring files to be destroyed and watch as these documents are shredded.
On shred days our portable shredder is stationed outside by the office area, right past the drop off. There is a 4box limit per person and a $5 fee per box – staples, paperclips, and folders do not need to be removed. In the event of rain we will post on this website and on our Facebook page to announce an alternate date. This is a new service being offered, so keep an eye out for any changes in procedures.
