MLK Day of Service

The Mobile County Recycling Center hosted a  Day of Service in honor of the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. on Monday January 16th. Participating were around 25 students and faculty from the University of South Alabama and Spring Hill College. These hard working volunteers helped us manage materials coming in at the drop off, sorted plastic and paper, helped us process plastic bags, washed out bins, picked up litter, and cleaned up our office area. We are extremely grateful for their hard work and dedication to our community. Volunteer work is a vital component of what keeps the Mobile County Recycling Center operating smoothly – if you’re interested in coming out to help us, whether it is as an individual or group, please check out the information on Volunteer with Us webpage.
